NATALIA KOLOSOVA, PhD, was born in St. Petersburg. She is the founder and editor of @artaroundtheglobe. Natalia is a theatre and opera critic and teacher of drama and theatre history. She studied Theatre at St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatre Arts and at Stockholm University. Natalia wrote her dissertation about Lev Dodin and his Maly Drama Theatre and also a book about the opera singer Vladimir Galouzine. She is an author of numerous articles in Russian and British journals since 1994. Natalia is also a photographer and video artist. She lives in London.
YULIA SAVIKOVSKAYA was born in St Petersburg, Russia and has graduated from St Petersburg State University (Department of Journalism). Her second BA in Theatre History is from Russian Institute of Scenic Arts (former St Petersburg State Theatre Academy). In 2008 she came to Britain to do an MPhil and then a DPhil in Social and Cultural Anthropology, focusing on changing identities and statuses of Russians who have lived in the UK in the 2000s. She has been writing theatre reviews for Russian art and theatre magazines since 2008. She is also a playwright and a translator.

ELENA MARSHAL was born in Donetsk, studied at Donetsk State Musical-Pedagogical Institute (now Music Academy named after Sergey Prokofiev), worked at Donetsk regional Radio station as a Music editor and presenter, then as a TV journalist, editor and presenter.
In 2004 moved to the UK, Eastbourne and London. I have been working as a freelance journalist, Russian/English Interpreter and Education consultant.
